Technology Challenge
This week we have been busy with our first school technology. We are busy brushing up on our skills in preparation for the BP Technology Challenge which will be held next month. Our first challenge was to build a free standing bridge which would then hold a 300g 'vehicle'. The bridge was judged on whether the bridge could support the 300g vehicle whilst it was being pulled across the full length of the bridge. There were a few other conditions such as the bridge had a minimum clearance height of 15 cm and was not permitted to be held during testing except to stop it from sliding on the floor.
Here are a few pictures of the challenge.
